Taylor Brugger, MSN, FNP-C, RN

Taylor Brugger is Chief Nursing Officer at MedSync, where she provides executive clinical leadership across clinical strategy, product development, quality, and evidence-based care delivery. As a Family Nurse Practitioner and experienced nurse leader, Taylor brings a unique perspective that bridges frontline clinical practice with healthcare innovation, population health, and the development of scalable, patient-centered solutions.

Her clinical background spans pediatric and critical care, emergency medicine, congenital cardiology, remote triage, case management, and nursing administration. Taylor has cared for some of the most medically complex patient populations, including critically ill children with congenital and acquired heart disease requiring advanced therapies such as ECMO, ventricular assist devices, mechanical ventilation, and continuous renal replacement therapy. She later served as a Charge Nurse in pediatric emergency medicine, leading care delivery in a high-acuity environment while supporting clinical education, interdisciplinary collaboration, and operational efficiency.

Taylor's leadership experience began in nursing administration, where she served as an Assistant Director of Nursing overseeing multidisciplinary clinical teams and patient care operations. Her subsequent experience across acute care, specialty care, care coordination, and advanced practice nursing has given her a broad understanding of how patients move through, and too often become fragmented within, the healthcare system.

At MedSync, Taylor applies that experience to help shape the organization's clinical vision and ensure its solutions remain grounded in evidence, clinical integrity, and the realities of patient care.

Taylor earned her Master of Science in Nursing and completed her Family Nurse Practitioner training at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Carolinas College of Health Sciences.

Throughout her career, Taylor has remained focused on a simple principle: healthcare innovation should make it easier for clinicians to deliver better care and harder for patients to fall through the cracks.
