Matthew Trotta
Co-Founder, VP of Business Strategy
Innovative Healthcare Marketer & Digital Health Entrepreneur
Matthew Trotta is a Co-Founder and Vice President of Business Strategy at MedSync Corp, a next-generation healthcare services company working to accelerate the adoption of innovative, reimbursement-ready medical technologies across the U.S. provider landscape. At the heart of Matthew’s work is a passion for solving complex healthcare challenges and a deep fascination with the intricacies of human health—both of which have shaped his mission-driven approach to marketing, strategy, and entrepreneurship.
That mission began at The Ohio State University, where Matthew founded Peerzle—a peer-to-peer mental health support platform that enables college students to access anonymous, on-demand support. Peerzle earned international recognition as a Webby Award Global Finalist for Public Service & Activism, finishing just behind NBC Universal. For his leadership in building the platform, Matthew was named a finalist for OSU’s Next Generation Innovator of the Year award, recognizing his entrepreneurial talent and social impact. He also won the university’s Safe and Healthy Campus Innovation Challenge for his COVID-era wellness initiative.
Following these early successes, Matthew founded Candlestick Enterprises, a strategic marketing consultancy through which he has advised over 27 clients across health tech, digital services, and medical innovation. Through his work, he has earned a reputation for turning complex ideas into actionable growth strategies.
At MedSync, Matthew leads marketing and strategic growth initiatives focused on bridging the gap between cutting-edge health solutions and real-world provider adoption. He oversees brand development, messaging strategy, B2B outreach, and partnership enablement—bringing clarity and momentum to a space often slowed by regulatory complexity and fragmented infrastructure.
From launching award-winning platforms to crafting national go-to-market strategies, Matthew continues to be driven by one goal: to build systems that make healthcare smarter, more connected, and more human.
