Duane Slinde

Duane Slinde is a Senior Leader of Information Technology with extensive experience designing, developing, and implementing complex IT systems and applications. As the CIO at MedSync Corp, a next-generation healthcare services company working to accelerate the adoption of innovative, reimbursement-ready medical technologies across the U.S. provider landscape, he is responsible for the overall IT function. He has over 25 years of experience implementing technology to address a multitude of healthcare needs for providers, patients and payers.

 

Duane has spent most of his career at UnitedHealth Group in a variety of technology roles including Senior Director of Engineering and Chief Solution Architect, Director of Architecture, Manager of Pilots, Prototypes, and Proof-of-Concepts, Development Lead, and Enterprise Architect. While at UHG, he worked across several different products in the Nurse Triage, Case and Disease Management, Wellness, Health Care Delivery, Pharmacy and Revenue Cycle Management spaces. Duane has designed solutions in the areas of call center migration, telephonic coaching, opportunity management, price transparency, outbound communications, home delivery pharmacy, state Medicaid modernization, and premium billing.

 

In Duane’s free time, he enjoys playing golf (now that his amateur baseball career is over) and traveling with his wife Lisa.  He has two grown daughters that both played college volleyball, allowing him to see many different states across the country to watch them play.
